How hard is it to get a tax installment plan?

I owe the IRS $1,100 in taxes for this year. I just found out that I owe this and I am nervous about requesting an installment agreement. I have always filed my taxes on time, and have always paid anything owed on time. I have never had an installment agreement before. I make 45K a year. Will the IRS turn me down? If they do, I dont know how I will pay on time.
