Why are we being bombarded with all these 'woe is me' questions?

Why are all the questions about "woe is me"? Because all the attention is on me, self gratification, immediate gratification, no thankfulness for what we have, no knowledge of what is really important, no self reliance, too much indulging, no self esteem, wanting it all, -- in other words -- spoiled and self-centered people.
