Access is denied error message when i try to open a folder?

Try this .... close all windows, click on the "My Computer" Icon top left of screen, Click on "Tools", then click on "Folder Options', then click on "View", look for the "Hidden Files" box, put a check mark next to show all hidden folders/files, this may or may not be your answer.
