Chrysler New yorker Dome Lights?

Last night it was raining hard and when I started to drive home the lights randomly came on such as doors and all the dome lights. The message never came on that the doors were ajar. I closed and shut the trunk and doors. I had to just take out the fuse but would like to know how to fix this without spending money maybe use WD-40 somewhere since maybe the rain had something to do with it. The car is a 1988 chrysler New yorker
